Job Summary:
Planning and organizing all procurement functions of AISA for the acquisition of goods, works and services including a procurement monitoring system.
• Taking significant responsibilities in the management of all procurements and disposal activities.
• Coordination, preparation and updating of procurement plans in consultation with the Vice President Administration.
• Performing all kind of logistical activities for the AISA office
• Attending to procurement queries, disputes, and complaints and report on contract awards and progress.
• As a team member responsible for evaluation of quotes, bids and proposals
• Issuing contracts and purchase orders.
• Ensuring proper consummation of all purchases, agreements and contracts.
• Quality assurance and inspection of all the purchases.
• Solicit, receive and analyze proposal, quotation and tender submissions and recommend selection.
• Administer the interim and final payment processes of procurement.
• Ensure final closure of all procurement documentation upon completion of the respective work.
• Overseeing all the department activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises two non–supervisory employees. Is responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department, Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
University degree, from a recognized University, in Business Management, Commerce, Finance or any other related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Should have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and ability to cultivate team spirit
• Must be a person of honesty and integrity with no criminal record, result oriented and proactive.
