Job Summary

The incumbent will perform a variety of functions relating to project support. The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Duties & Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews Purchase Order (PO) procurement requests and recommend necessary actions.
• Preparation of Request for Quotations for Purchase Orders.
• Assist in the Preparation of Request for Consent letters for CO (USAID) signature.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders.
• Preparing modifications to Purchase Orders.
• Documentation Control of all Purchase Orders.
• Preparation of PO pre-award documents.
• Performs PO cost and price analysis.
• Administering and closing out PO awards.
• Preparation of all necessary PO pre-award and solicitation documents and estimates.
• Conduct cost/price analysis PO proposals/applications including coordinating audits.
• Prepares award and file documentation for signature by COP or higher authority.
• Transfer or records to Contract and Procurement Data Base.
Carry out any other relevant duties requested by the Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualification:

• Good written and spoken English Skills.
• Computer skills including MS office.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Please refer subhead “Essential Qualifications”

Education:

• A High School or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years experience in procurement and/or purchasing with at least one year with and international firm.

Languages and Skills:

• Proficient in English and can handle all duties entrusted to him/her.

Abilities and Skills:

• Ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure to meet the deadlines and good interpersonal skills are required.
