Job Summary:

Supervision of procurement life cycle.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervision and managing of the complete procurement life cycle 

• Act as a point of contact between the company and suppliers

• Identify potential suppliers based on project requirements

• Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers

• Monitor and update relevant departments regarding price fluctuations of goods and vendor pricing

• Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production

• Process purchase orders to acquire goods

• Work closely with the legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to the company

• Attend meetings with the legal team, engineering team, vendors and suppliers

• Evaluate the quotations and generate the report as Optional Appraisal Procedure

• Follow up and keep update the Moby properties rent agreements

• Send notifications to vendors for the delayed order and incorrect orders

• Monitoring the quality, quantity, and cost of items during the purchase

• Purchase required items and services at the lowest ultimate Price

• Find a competent vendor in the market for the best services and quotations

• Standardize items bought where possible in the market

• Procure the fuel for office machinery and take care up to delivery 

• Keep updated the filing system 

• Perform other related tasks assigned by the line manager

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

• Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in procurement and contract management 

• Good command over English, Dari, and Pashtu both in writing and speaking 

• Good command over computers MS office programs  

• Have knowledge of records and bookkeeping

• Good time management skills to process multiple tasks

• Ability to work under pressure 

• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work task

• Ability to work in flexible hours/shifts according to the needs of the company 

• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management

• Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures

• Solid judgment with ability to make good decisions

• Strong leadership capabilities

• Strong attention to details 

• Excellent customer service skills 

• Problem-solving skills
