Job Summary:


Duties & Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in procurement activities and select ways to improve purchasing, procedures and policies.
• Negotiate contracts for all local purchasing with intend to improve quality of products while reduce costs.
• Actively monitor market, vendors and procurement officers to make sure AFGS perform with honesty.
• Champion continued improvement processes to ensure quality in all AFGS procurement activities.
• Communicate all procurement procedures and Policies to the company to assure compliance from staff.
• Guide and coach procurement staff to improve performances.
• Ensure all AFGS employees are well versed in procurement procedures.
• Ensure procurement ceilings and approval procedures are utilized appropriately.
• Ensure procurement files are maintained in an orderly and up-to-date system.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure that payments to vendors are made on-time and without any unnecessary strain on the financial systems.
• In cooperation with financial management staff, help to ensure compliance with established financial management rules and procedures for all Kabul offices-based procurement and personnel.

Job Requirement:

• Must have BBA/BA/BCS or relevant degree.
• 3-5 Experience in procurement and logistics management is a must.
• Must have demonstrated understanding of procurement processes.
• Managerial skills with a diverse teams and large flow of information and activities.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office), filing, and organizational skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
