Job Summary:

Responsible for Local and international procurement.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Experience in knowing what products, services and materials are required
• Expertise for tracking and predicting levels of stocks
• Analytical and researching capabilities for identifying and assessing viability of new products, services and suppliers
• Ability for weighing up tenders from prospective suppliers
• Sound ability to negotiate favorable terms and prices
• Collaborative experience in agreeing and preparing contracts with suppliers
• Experience in formulating logistics
• Ability for ensuring scheduled goods and services are delivered within specified time frames
• Organizational skills
• Experience in optimizing internal operational processes including managing payments
• Sound knowledge and familiarization of trends within your market(s)
• Implementations you initiated for streamlining operational processes leading to cost savings
• Significant operational results arising from your expertise and due diligence.

• To carry out the Procurement of local Food and Nonfood items and office assets and to obtain necessary Price Quotations for Local Procurement and to negotiate discounts with vendors

• Review market regularly for price changes and ensure appropriate documentation and reports on procurement
• To ensure that all purchases requisitions have got all the appropriate approvals and are numbered and logged and copies of requisition on file

• Procure all requested purchases in a timely manner and receive locally purchased goods verifying receipt and follow up on brokerage

• To ensure that all Warehouses, have Warehouse equipment and arrange the procurement and delivery of lacking equipment.

• To maintain all Procurement and Logistics records in an orderly and auditable manner.

• To attend Weekly Logistics meetings and update the management team on the Procurement, highlighting progress and possible difficulties that may be encountered for appropriate and timely action.

• To ensure that all advances for procurement are liquidated in a timely manner and any other duties as may be assigned by Admin Manager.

Job Requirement:

University degree will be preferred with the relevant experience.
