Responsible for Local and international procurement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Experience in knowing what products, services and materials are required
â€¢ Expertise for tracking and predicting levels of stocks
â€¢ Analytical and researching capabilities for identifying and assessing viability of new products, services and suppliers
â€¢ Ability for weighing up tenders from prospective suppliers
â€¢ Sound ability to negotiate favorable terms and prices
â€¢ Collaborative experience in agreeing and preparing contracts with suppliers
â€¢ Experience in formulating logistics
â€¢ Ability for ensuring scheduled goods and services are delivered within specified time frames
â€¢ Organizational skills
â€¢ Experience in optimizing internal operational processes including managing payments
â€¢ Sound knowledge and familiarization of trends within your market(s)
â€¢ Implementations you initiated for streamlining operational processes leading to cost savings
â€¢ Significant operational results arising from your expertise and due diligence.
â€¢ To carry out the Procurement of local Food and Nonfood items and office assets and to obtain necessary Price Quotations for Local Procurement and to negotiate discounts with vendors
â€¢ Review market regularly for price changes and ensure appropriate documentation and reports on procurement
â€¢ To ensure that all purchases requisitions have got all the appropriate approvals and are numbered and logged and copies of requisition on file
â€¢ Procure all requested purchases in a timely manner and receive locally purchased goods verifying receipt and follow up on brokerage
â€¢ To ensure that all Warehouses, have Warehouse equipment and arrange the procurement and delivery of lacking equipment.
â€¢ To maintain all Procurement and Logistics records in an orderly and auditable manner.
â€¢ To attend Weekly Logistics meetings and update the management team on the Procurement, highlighting progress and possible difficulties that may be encountered for appropriate and timely action.
â€¢ To ensure that all advances for procurement are liquidated in a timely manner and any other duties as may be assigned by Admin Manager.
University degree will be preferred with the relevant experience.
