The procurement officer report to the ICMA CAWSA Operation Director based in Kabul.

The Procurement Officer will perform the following Responsibilities:
â€¢Receive requisition requests
â€¢Initiate the procurement process
â€¢Collect quotations from Market
â€¢Prepare Comparative Statements
â€¢Prepare purchase orders
â€¢Receive delivery/completion certificates
â€¢Prepare requests for Payments
â€¢Prepare and record purchase order sheets
â€¢Prepare Received /Returned /Hand over/ Properties Forms
â€¢Inspect payment documents of the contracted Invoices
â€¢Implement procurement efforts at all stages of procurement
â€¢Establish and maintain work program and schedule for on
going procurement and newly planned ones.
â€¢Prepare a variety of procurement related documents,
contracts, communications, instructions, etc.
â€¢Maintain and update all procurement files and records of
corporate, service, maintenance and other contracts
â€¢Ensure that the reporting and auditing requirements are in
full compliance with parent organization and USAID
â€¢ Perform any other duties as required.
â€¢Minimum Qualifications and Experience required.
â€¢University degree or completion of High School graduation
supplemented by technical courses and experience in the
â€¢Six years of progressively responsible clerical or
administrative work, of which at least one year is closely
related to support of programme activities.
