Job Summary

• Receive requisition requests
• Initiate the procurement process
• Collect quotations from Market
• Prepare Comparative Statements
• Prepare Justifications
• Prepare purchase orders
• Receive delivery/completion certificates
• Prepare requests for Payments
• Prepare and record purchase order sheets
• Prepare Received /Returned /Hand over/ Properties Forms
• Inspect payment documents of the contracted Invoices
• Implement procurement efforts at all stages of procurement cycles.
• Establish and maintain work program and schedule for on going procurement and newly planned ones.
• Prepare a variety of procurement related documents, contracts, communications, instructions, etc.
• Maintain and update all procurement files and records of corporate, service, maintenance and other contracts
• Ensure that the reporting and auditing requirements are in full compliance with parent organization and USAID requirements.
• Perform any other duties as required by Procurement Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

• University degree or completion of High School graduation supplemented by technical courses and experience in the related field;

• Six years of progressively responsible clerical or administrative work, of which at least one year is closely related to support of programme activities.

• Other Skills and Attributes

• Proven clerical skills and in management and administration

• Good writing and communication skills

• Good analytical skills

• Ability to take initiative and function as a team

• Good experience and knowledge of computer applications

• Ability to foster harmonious working relations in a multicultural environment.

• Fluent in English and good working knowledge of national languages, Pashto/ Dari.
