About Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP):
The Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP) is a multi-pronged effort to develop and strengthen the capacity of the Afghan criminal justice sector institutions and justice professionals. JSSP is funded by the United States Department of State/Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). PAE is INL’s prime contractor responsible for implementing JSSP. Through capacity building, technical advice and direct assistance, JSSP helps the justice institutions and the justice professionals perform their respective roles in delivering fair and effective justice services to the citizens of Afghanistan. In addition to working with justice institutions, JSSP participates in a variety of projects designed to promote access to a fair and effective justice system.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to read write and understand English
Will adhere to ethical work standards at all times
Must have high degree of integrity and be trustworthy
Perform routine repetitive purchasing primarily in the commodity accounts
Expedite capital equipment, supplies, materials and services for the department;
Research vendors, analyze quotes and prepare bid documents
Prepare solicitations (Requests for Quotes or RFQ) and send to vendor
Conducts Market Research local market as well as internet
Evaluate alternatives offers and makes recommendations for approval; negotiates pricing and discounts
Determine accuracy of offers and ensure compliance with purchase orders
Ensure compliance with purchasing policies; plans and directs delivery services
Process invoice discrepancies through vendor contact to resolve problems
Track and ensure prompt and efficient delivery of shipments
Ensure all vendors are approved in Cost Point prior to sending our RFQ and update vendor information
Other duties as assigned by the Procurement Supervisor or Manager
Job Requirement:
Holder of Bachelor degree in business administration
Good knowledge and understanding of human resources principles practices
Professional English language skills
Knowledge of human resource management
Highly motivated in performing responsibilities
Excellent reporting skills
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain rapport with all levels of employees is required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent computer skills with excellent ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
