Job Summary

The Product team is responsible for launching new products to the market and for managing existing products.
As part of the product portfolio team, this position will have the following responsibilities and objectives as:

Duties & Responsibilities

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Roll out new products by following the Product Development process:
a. Identify opportunities for new products
b. Write functional requirements and contribute to Product RFPs.
c. Participate in vendor selection process.
d. Coordinate tasks between different departments to deliver product per the project plan schedule.
e. Write deliverables: business case, revenue forecast, PPP presentations, market research, marcom and customer care briefs, sales training, test plans, functional product specifications, project plan, etc.
2. Manage existing products:
a. Monitor product performance and analyze usage.
b. Meet revenue targets by launching promotions, enhanced functionality, etc.
c. Establish roadmaps and forecasts.

OBJECTIVES

Data and VAS Products:
- Product development per PPP process for launch of data and VAS products (to be identified by the Data / VAS Product Managers)
- Post launch product management

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

• High school diploma
• Experience in project coordination / management
• Experience in Customer Care, Technical / Subscriber Management or Sales desired
• Telecom experience desired

Skills/Abilities
• Written and spoken English, Dari, Pashto
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• MS Office Skills
