Job Summary:
The Program Analyst/IT Specialist will help build, maintain and continuously improve data/network management systems. The Program Analyst/IT Specialist is responsible for maintenance and enhancements of existing systems, development of new systems and data reports.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This candidate will setup and support application development. Participate in the overall functional and technical design and implementation for assignments. Development of enterprise reports for WAN design and implementation. Maintain and enhance back end database and front end application components and develop utility programs. Perform analysis, design, programming, testing and other application development and maintenance tasks to meet new requirements and major enhancement requests. Process and analyze raw data and generate complicated reports. Create and update system documentation and specifications. Provide desktop and network support. Maintain and enhance back end server network design/ requirements. Assist in the development, configuration, and installation, troubleshooting and resolve hardware and software issues for end users. Install, configure and document standard client and server system hardware and software. Problem identification, systems architecture definition, hardware/software specification, design, implementation and solution deployment. Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply processes and procedures
Job Requirement:
HS or College Degree in Computer Science
-Good written, verbal, and analytical communications skills in English
-Knowledge of SQL Server 2008 programming, stored procedures, and queries
-Knowledge of relational database, ODBC, OLE/DB and ADO
-Knowledge of IT on both servers and workstations
-Knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server OS, Exchange, Back up Application
-TCP/IP network knowledge; DNS configuration and Microsoft business applications -Team player and self-starter with excellent good problem solving skills, and the ability to present information concisely to drive decisions and action
-Capable to adapt new technologies
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: -2 or more years related work experience plus relevant technical training in IT Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) strongly preferred -Experience supporting a WAN environment and with a remote workforce a must -Experience with TCP/IP network design and troubleshooting a must -Experience working with network monitoring /analysis tools a must -Experience supporting Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server a must
