Job Summary:
: The Program Associate is a medium level technical position that will provide technical and administrative support to the Program team in the areas of EMIS, Procurement, Assessment and other tasks as deemed necessary. The program associate reports directly to the ACR Provincial Technical Manager and indirectly to the AHG ACR Program Manager. He/She works closely with the Provincial Technical Officer, Provincial Finance Officer and IRC ACR team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for provincial program management, including, financial management, and oversight of project activities
Assist the project in the implementation phase of the organizational development plan.
Assist and coordinate project activities at the provincial level
Provide administrative support to the field team. Maintain quality and program records
Responsible for working with AHG’s finance department for program financial management, including monthly review and approval of expenditures, client invoices, and ensuring project memos are complete and accurate.

Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or another related field (Masters preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of professional experiences
Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred)
Excellent knowledge of MIS systems and research concepts
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
Demonstrated background in managing large program budgets
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work both as an independent self-starter and as a member of a dynamic and fast-moving team
Previous experience managing staff
Detail-oriented with good organization and prioritization skills
Fluency in Dari/Pashto and English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiar with mobile operating platforms i.e. iOS and Android
Familiarity with research and evaluation
