-To support the Program cycle management of AFGS/ATEMP supported projects within the region in close collaboration with the Provincial Support Unit
• To be informed and assist the Provincial offices in the resource mobilization for the projects in the region. Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to envision and deliver innovative solutions.
• To facilitate and follow the process for verification, approval of projects in AFGS/ATEMP in close liaison with the HQ.
• To facilitate the monitoring and MIS on projects for the region within Kabul, and coordinate information exchange
• To facilitate evaluation of projects within the regions and manage the external evaluation if so required
• To facilitate the administration of regional staff (leave requests, advances, contracts) in collaboration with HR and admin/ finance;
• In consultation with AFGS/ATEMP Program Management Office, ensure the development and establishment of effective consultation processes and coordination and communication mechanisms with ATEMP Provincial Personnel, relevant Departments
• To participate in developing concepts, designing projects and writing, and producing reports;
• Ensure that AFGS/ATEMP strategies relating to recovery and capacity development are effectively and efficiently implemented.
• Undertake field visits as required; monitor the AFGS/ATEMP supported activities in areas of responsibility and maintain a database of information
Supporting and Working Closely with the Provincial Project Managers
Coordinate project development and execution from instauration to closure.
• Working with Deputy Program manager for the conclusion of project charter outlining goals, budget, timing, deliverables, project scope, and required resources
• Coordinating on work breakdown structure for the estimation of efforts needed for each task
• Preparing and providing a project schedule to all participants to indentify the commencement of their tasks
• Communicating clearly the expectations to project sponsors and team members
• Resolving issues and solving problems throughout the project cycle determining the requirement of external contractors or consultants to accomplish the project plan, recruiting and managing appropriate staffing if required
• Have Bachelor in relevant
• 3-5 years experience.
• Knowledge and experience of vehicle maintenance is optional .
• Computer literacy
• English language competency.
• Competency in national languages.
