پوهنتون مشعل به عنوان یک شخصیت حکمی در راستای عرضۀ خدمات اکادمیک، در سال ۱۳۸۸ به جمع خانواده تحصیلات عالی در کشور پیوست، تا از این طریق بتواند مصدر خدمت به مردم گردیده و از منابع در امتداد اهداف ملی در عرصه های علمی و اکادمیک استفاده بهینه نماید. پوهنتون مشعل برای ترویج اصولی که ملت ما در طول سالها برای آن کار کرده، تلاش می ورزد. اصولی مانند؛ آگاهی اسلامی، عدالتاجتماعی، یکپارچگی ملی، راهحلعلمی برای مشکل جامعه زندگی مسالمت آمیز بر مبنای معیار های پذیرفته شده انسانی و درک متقابل بین المللی. پوهنتون مشعل یک نهاد قانونی بوده که بر اساس مجوز رسمی وزارت تحصیلات عالی و با توجه به معیار های پذیرفته شده جهانی، فعالیت های اکادمیک و برنامه های درسی خویش را عیار ساخته است. پوهنتون مشعل در یک روند ممتد برنامه های درسی خود را بازنگری (باز نگری خودی) نموده و با توجه به نیازها در آن نوآوری میآورد، تجدید نظر برنامه ها توسط اعضای هیئت علمی پوهنحی ها نظر به نیاز های موجود صورت گرفته ضمن اینکه روی برخی از برنامه های کهنه در جلسه بورد اکادمیک تجدید نظر شده و برخی از برنامه ها نیز جدیدآ معرفی می گردند.

Job Summary:

To ensure meeting of the compliance requirements and complement efforts to conduct quality implementation of Jawana Curriculum for primary target groups in Kabul, Afghanistan and be responsible for the overall coordination back and forth between TT WLD Representatives and the Mashal University regarding the Program.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assignments and activities are likely to include some or all of the following:

The Program Coordinator shall attend and receive accreditation credentials through the Pre-Service Education Program (P-SEP),

The Program Coordinator is required to successfully complete the PSEP training before being allowed to manage the implementation of the Jawana curriculum.

The Program Coordinator shall work 8 hours per day 6 days per week on the Jawana implementation works.

The Program Coordinator shall assist the Course Facilitator’s and ensure they are providing the recent Jawana graduates with support and assistance in accessing the USAID Promote Knowledge Management (KM) portal to apply for scholarships, access job opportunities, and network.

The Program Coordinator shall assist and support the Course Facilitators to document the success stories and lessons-learned, writing reports on the delivery of completed Jawana sessions, and preparation for the upcoming sessions.

Perform required translations from English to Dari and Pashto and vice versa on the Jawana documents as needed.

The PC shall attend In Service Education Program (I-SEP) at the end of every round for 4 weeks, 8 hours per day, 3 times per year.

Ensure all daily attendance sheets are signed and photos capturing the PSEP Training are completed and submitted to TT WLD Representatives daily and or weekly until completed.

Represent the Mashal University and be the focal point between the university and the TT WLD Representative(s).

Review the TT WLD curriculum and make inquiries to adopt and utilize it for conducting training sessions.

Respond to inquiries and any issues encountered by the Mashal University regarding the TT WLD curriculum and support in resolving such issues.

Ensure that training sessions are in line with TT WLD’s requirements and that quality training presentations are provided.

Compile data from CFs and create weekly, monthly, and final reports to submit to TT WLD program management;

Assess the needs of the participants and respond to any immediate concern encountered during the course sessions;

Communicate any and all issues to TT WLD Representatives.

Respond to inquiries made by TT WLD representatives on the status of the project;

Ensure that CFs are carrying out their duties appropriately and responsibly.

Ensure that training venues have stationery and refreshments available, training materials are prepared, and resource centers are equipped with the appropriate electronic hardware, internet access and a library with reading materials.

Ensure required milestone activities and documentation are completed and compiled for monthly invoice submittals.

File and record keeping of all Jawana documents

Ensure all reporting documents are submitted and or translated in English as required.
Reporting

Program Coordinator shall report directly to the Mashal University management and coordinate with the TT WLD Technical Department Representatives on achieving the project deliverables.

Job Requirement:


Bachelor’s degree in any of the following: management, business, education, communication.

Minimum 3 years of working experience in education, coordinating projects, reporting, organizing events, project management, management and/or providing trainings;

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to identify problems and resolving them beforehand;

Good analytical skills in ensuring overall quality work;

Excellent language proficiency in English and Dari and Pashtu.

Ability to leverage and exercise influence on individuals in the project.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook
