Job Summary

•Programme Planning, Implementing, Monitoring, Evaluation and Suggesting new agendas to be taken in NSP working areas and in Kabul Province.
•Assisting the Team Coordinator in managing the implementation of NSP activities and other projects in Kabul •Assisting the Kabul PSU management in timely reporting of NSP project and other donor projects
•Assisting the Team Coordinator to ensure that NSP facilitation and other project implementation are in line with the proposal guidelines
•Ensuring field operation plans are implemented effectively •Ensuring the documentation of all projects filed properly.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Ensuring the NSP and other projects proper documentation and separate filing system
•Ensure receiving update projects progress report on time from field office and compile it in each project reporting format suggested by donor or Actionaid Afghanistan. •Develop specific monitoring and evaluation tools as per project goals and objectives
•Compiling and developing timely and appropriate reports for all projects
•Ensuring implementation of the programs/projects in accordance with the projects and NSP operational Manual •Ensure that the team follows process and systems laid out by the organization and strategies are being used properly, specially NSP high risk implementation strategy •Ensure weekly and monthly plans are made in a participatory manner and followed up effectively by the staff members
•Conduct the monthly management meeting in PSU level and ensure the meeting report receipts by the management members •Ensuring that gender mainstreaming takes place in all aspects of the programme
•Travel to field to assist the field operation team members and ensure the quality of programme implementation •Summarizing the project proposal and activities and orient the field team staff members
•Monitor the expenditure in line with projects budget line and targets achievements, especially NSP plan follow up with operation team
•Provide prices and quality field visit report to PSU team Coordinator
•Facilitating unit team meetings for program effectiveness in the absence of Team Coordinator

Job Requirements

•University degree (Social Sciences) or any other related subject. •A minimum of three years experience in field operation especially in NSP project •Skills in planning, design, conduct and evaluation of long and short term programmes •Need assessment and analytical skills •Interpersonal skills, facilitation, communication and networking
•Report writing skills
•Posses broad development vision
•Good communication skills in English and local languages (Pashto and Dari)
•Understanding and sensitivity to cross cultural issues •Flexible and adaptable to ever changing environments •Team player
•Excellent computer skills •Willingness to travel and live in basic conditions
