Job Summary
Responsible for directing and daily management of Qamar's programs, the complete cycle of crediting activities, and related operations, including staffing, executive works, and procedures. He will ensure that Qamar in Afghanistan is a leading charity work that assists people in need and bring sustainable solutions; that the programs are implemented in a most efficient, fair, sustainable, and professional manner.
He will be managing the specific project(s) that he is allocated for and assist the Program Manager with day-to-day operations-related activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Check the allocated project planning and make sure it is according to the work plan.
Check the allocated project proposals and ensure their accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
Ensures the work progresses according to the project plan.
Manages the allocated projects and updates the General Manager timely.
Writes reports for the allocated projects concerning planning, implementation method, and quality monitoring for the specific project(s) that he is allocated.
Continually reviews the working procedures and outputs of the allocated projects and provides technical advice to the implementers.
Conduct project progress analysis and communicate his/her findings from an effectiveness point of view with the implementing organization and based on the analysis result advise for the appropriate improvement.
Establish a strong liaison with the organizations implementing the projects and provide necessary coordination-related assistance to them.
Conducts regular field visits to the allocated projects for the purpose to ensure the quality of work and advise for improvement.
Evaluates and track the allocated projects weekly, monthly progressive, quarterly, and annual reports and ensure their accuracy.
Job Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Economics with proven experiences in Project Management.
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work as part of a team and to work independently.
Commitment and integrity.
General ability to draft clearly and concisely ideas and concepts in written and oral form.
A strong commitment to developing, promoting, and practicing Qamar’s vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Fluency in English, and proficiency in Dari and Pashto.
Ability to deal with difficult, often challenging work situations.

Competent to work with significant levels of autonomy and able to meet tight deadlines.
