About NPCC:

New Paiman Construction Company (NPCC) is a private non government company which was established in 2003 and it is registered with the Afghan Government AISA and other Organizations. NPCC working/functional areas are Road Construction, General Construction (commercial, private, and governmental), Drainage Systems, Water Supply, Material and Equipment Supply, Surveying, Designing etc.

Job Summary:


Duties & Responsibilities:

Project management
1.Over all project management at provincial level.
2.Be responsible for all communication with NPCC Main office and the project owner at provincial level (US Army Corps of Engineer) and attend weekly progress meeting with client.
3.Represent NPCC where ever needed.
4.Be responsible to maintain proper system for recording of all communications, meeting minute’s documents, submittals and material samples in site office.
5.Supervise and look after daily operation (various job) at the field/provincial level and make sure that all QC, safety, site engineers and other staff are fully performing their duties and responsibilities.
6.Approve purchasing request for project material and etc and make sure that the material are supplied to the project and utilized as per the project schedule.
7.Planning, organizing and regulating the works and Conduct daily staff meeting in site office and control daily operation, and give proper direction to officers and engineers of various sections.
8.Follow up on admin finance and HR issues in site office and make sure that all admin/finance procedures as in place and implemented.
9.Liaison between NPCC and USACE and Maydan Shar ANP local Authority.
10.Conduct weekly separate meeting with the subcontractors and handle all related issues.
11.Make sure that all QC, safety, subcontractors work progress, admin and finance reports are submitted to NPCC head office on timely basis.
12.Review and check the subcontractors report for progress payment on monthly basis.
13.Prepare/revise activity schedule for all jobs and tasks on project site.
14.Control of safety and security measures on job site.
1.Daily, weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting to the Head of Mission.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications required:

1.University Degree in one of the following Engineering fields: Civil Engineering, Architecture or relevant.
2.Minimum of 5 years experience with national and/or international construction companies.
3.Strong experience in project and team management.
4.Having best problem solving attitude.
5.Be familiar with US Army Corps of Engineer Project in Afghanistan
6.Strong report writing and communication skills (in English)
7.Strong Computer knowledge.
8.Sense of fairness and equitable leadership.
