The Project Manager will manage construction initiatives on building sections to be built. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and supervising working crews in the field, overseeing building construction of the project. The incumbent will work closely with the Construction Manager, to ensure that all aspects of the project are following proposed timelines and are implemented according to client and Amerifa CC standards. Closely work with Construction Manager to insure proper project implementation and to address and resolve
any major issue, including logistics and security issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Major responsibilities:
1- Responsible for management and administrate of project civil and administration works.
2- Responsible to provide technical and administrative assistance to subordinates construction engineers, supervisor and subcontractors.
3- Responsible for the activities to be assigned to construction engineers, surveyors and supervisors.
4- Responsible to review and supervise as assigned activities, schedule and resources.
5- Responsible to analyze assigned activities to determine the scope, time, manpower, and equipments requirement.
6- Responsible to review project planning and scheduling documents for the progress.
7- Responsible for assist in the implementation, resolution of the technical inquires and control confirming items.
8- Responsible to prepare and review design change requests and notices.
9- Responsible to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and methods, and ensure all test are carried out as per requirements of RFP.
10- Responsible for attendance of weekly meeting with client.
11- Responsible to ensure technically sound and achievable approach for successful completion of the project.
12- Responsible for prepare the work to plan for all engineering activities in assigned area for project work plane in consultation with all the team members and review it periodically in order to keep trade of the progress. Contractually, fiscally and technically responsible for the success of assigned project.
13- Responsible to ensure project requirements are accurately defined, documented and communicated with project team.
14- Responsible to create and maintain a well organized management and administrations without any headaches all over the project.
15- Executes project work plans (Schedules) and revises in cooperation with the Construction Manager as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
16- Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
17- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the project.
18- Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to Construction Manager.
19- Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
20- Minimizes our exposure and risk on project.
21- Ensures project documents are complete, current, sent electronically, and stored appropriately.
22- Project Accounting.
23- Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
24- Manages project budget.
25- Determines appropriate revenue recognition, reviews sub-contractor invoicing to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
B.S.C degree in civil engineering.
Minimum 5 years experience in construction of roads
Must be able for planning, organizing, management and working independently.
Must be expert in writing, speaking and listening of English language
Must have ability of management and Administration
Must understand the computer skills, Ms.Office
Must have the flexibility in working hours and other project related issues.
