Job Summary:

The Project Officer will work within the Project Implementation Unit of CHA. The main responsibilities are:

Duties & Responsibilities:

To participate in the trainings conducted by Oxfam Novib and other partners
To provide input to the consultants for development of project guidelines, survey questionnaire, and joint advocacy and media strategy of the project
To actively participate in discussion, sharing and advocacy events during the life of project
To supervise the work of project team according to the project plan and job description of the team members
To guide the team in completing their jobs
To ensure proper documentation of the project activities, events, beneficiaries and community profiles and other information related to the project
To accompany the visitors during monitoring, review/evaluation, researches, surveys and other exposure visits to the field conducted by the project
To prepare and submit project updates and periodic reports according to the donors requirements
To conduct regular supervision of project by travelling to the project sites
To ensure conducting of trainings to the communities and other key people by project trainers.

Job Requirement:

•BA degree social science or equivalent professional certificate
•Fluency in English and Dari( writing, reading and talking )
•At least Two years of experience with NGOs especially in community development
•Have an orientation toward development work
•Positive communication and interpersonal skills
•Good Computer skills
•Self-directed and able to initiate activities
