Job Summary

The Project Manager is a new role created in the production department to help with coordinating, monitoring and optimizing multiple simultaneous projects. The role is considered a key role, working with Head of Production, in scoping and planning the entire production pipeline. Whilst the role will not have direct control of the projects, they will be part of the team responsible for delivering all projects. Specifically the PM will ensure the management are aware of all issues, risks and works to optimize projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Works with an interdepartmental team to complete multiple simultaneous ongoing projects on time, to requirements, and with accuracy and efficiency.

·      Works with team to assign and track tasks, resources and budgets

·      Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.

·      Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates

·      Conducts standard risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk.

·      Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout

·      Ensures compliance with company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

·      Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements

·      Bachelor’s degree in related field, Master’s degree preferred.

·      4-7 years of related experience.

·      PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

·      Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

·      Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

·      Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

·      Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed.

·      Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
