The Project Officer for Linking Relief to Rehabilitation and Development (LRRD) Project is in charge of the Program at district level and responsible to implement and monitor the project in the villages and provide support to Social Organizers and partner organization related to the project
•To implement the project and provide support to the social organizers and partner organization in the field related to LRRD Project
•Under the supervision of the LRRD Project Coordinator, to plan and organize all activities required for the project (identification, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) for his/her area of assignment
•To strictly follow the schedule of activities enumerated in the individual work plan, both office and field schedules
•To prepare the monthly planning and weekly updates and to submit it to the LRRD Project Coordinator
•To attend regular weekly meeting at the district base or at the district level
•To ensure that all the project documents established in the field be properly achieved at the project base
•To assist with the logistic officer the mode and appropriate schedules of distribution of goods and services to the beneficiaries
•To implement the assigned activities (community organization, training, workshop, distributions, monitoring, technical assistance) in collaboration with the other field staffs at the district level
•Undertake regular visits, or as often as necessary, to each activity location to gain a clear understanding of project conditions, requirements and constraints
•To conduct regular monitoring and assessment of areas assisted based on the work plans
•Facilitate focus group discussions with the beneficiaries, Government, Partner, traditional leaders and representatives of the Civil Society to set up criteria for the selection of beneficiaries of the project
•To establish and maintain professional relationships and highest standard of work ethics with partner organization, local government and Shura
•In collaboration with the local counterparts to coordinate and inform the local authorities of the ongoing activities
•To routinely submit progress reports to the Project Coordinator/Project Manager about the status of the project activities
•To ensure active women participation in all aspects of project implementation as per Actionaid approaches
•Perform other related activities assigned by the supervisor
•High School Graduate (12 Grade), degree in Social Work or related subject will be preferred
•At least three years experiences with International and national organizations in implementations of livelihood programs with rural communities
•Ample background in community mobilization
•Knowledge of Ms. Office Programs
•Excellent written and verbal communication and relational skills, , especially in a cross – cultural environment
•Good report writing skills
•Problem solving skills
•Good interpersonal skill
•Gender sensitive
•Be able to work independently as well as in a team
•Willingness to travel frequently as per requirements of the project
