Program Planning, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluation and suggesting new agendas to be taken in Development Areas
•Provide leadership and support to DA programme team to ensure effective management and timely implementation of work plans and budgets.
•Lead the team of community facilitators in identifying most vulnerable/marginalized people within the community, by using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and other participatory techniques
•Manage and implement programme interventions to achieve programme outputs and objectives, including monitoring and mid-term reviews in accordance with ActionAid Afghanistan requirements.
•Assist in the preparation of detailed proposal submissions.
•Assess, design and implement interventions to meet identified needs and strengthen local capacities in consultation and participation of local people
•Ensure timely compilation of situation updates, project and monthly narrative reports for field, in accordance with required reporting formats.
•Monitor programme expenditure and assist in preparing and analysing financial reports, understanding variances and taking corrective actions if required.
•Ensure that programme staff understands their individual and collective responsibilities for safety and well being.
•Minimum of university degree in the field of education and social development
•Experience in the in one or more of the priority themes of ActionAid Afghanistan
•Experience in long term programme management including assessment, planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation
•Skills in PRA, participatory management or other participatory tools
•Sound documentation and reporting skills, in English and local language
•Demonstrated experience of leading and managing a team
•Excellent knowledge of computer MS Office
•Good communication skills in Dari , Pashto and English
•Minimum two year experience in relevant filed with NGO or INGO
•Understanding and sensitivity to cross cultural issues
