Program Planning, Implementing, Monitoring and Evaluation and suggesting new agendas to be taken in Development Areas
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢Provide leadership and support to DA programme team to ensure effective management and timely implementation of work plans and budgets.
â€¢Lead the team of community facilitators in identifying most vulnerable/marginalized people within the community, by using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) and other participatory techniques
â€¢Manage and implement programme interventions to achieve programme outputs and objectives, including monitoring and mid-term reviews in accordance with ActionAid Afghanistan requirements.
â€¢Assist in the preparation of detailed proposal submissions.
â€¢Assess, design and implement interventions to meet identified needs and strengthen local capacities in consultation and participation of local people
â€¢Ensure timely compilation of situation updates, project and monthly narrative reports for field, in accordance with required reporting formats.
â€¢Monitor programme expenditure and assist in preparing and analysing financial reports, understanding variances and taking corrective actions if required.
â€¢Ensure that programme staff understands their individual and collective responsibilities for safety and well being.
â€¢Minimum of university degree in the field of education and social development
â€¢Experience in the in one or more of the priority themes of ActionAid Afghanistan
â€¢Experience in long term programme management including assessment, planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation
â€¢Skills in PRA, participatory management or other participatory tools
â€¢Sound documentation and reporting skills, in English and local language
â€¢Demonstrated experience of leading and managing a team
â€¢Excellent knowledge of computer MS Office
â€¢Good communication skills in Dari , Pashto and English
â€¢Minimum two year experience in relevant filed with NGO or INGO
â€¢Understanding and sensitivity to cross cultural issues
