The incumbent will perform a variety of functions relating to project support. The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare project financial information such as Budgets and Cash Flow Forecasts
• Advise client organization how to implement effective financial controls, management and reporting
• Set up – with client organization – a financial reporting system
• Become an expert user on the client’s financial management system and oversee data entry and report generation
• Establish an effective and flexible costing system for customer service delivery
• In conjunction with management, develop a service pricing model for different services
Specific duties and responsibilities:
• Provide accurate weekly financial reports for Task Order 22 commercialization project
• Develop an accurate costing and pricing model for client services delivered
• Ensure proper financial controls are in place in client organization
• Develop procedures for cash management for client organization
• Train client staff to perform according to agreed standards and procedures
Desirable Qualifications:
• Formal Internationally Recognized Accounting Qualification
Education:
• Degree or diploma or ACCA certified financial qualification
Experience:
• At least 5 years financial consulting experience or more than 5 years accounting experience in a medium to large organization
• Auditing experience
• Financial systems development and implementation experience
• Expert Excel User
Language Requirements:
• Fluent English and Pashtu (Level 4) and the ability to draft substantive correspondence.
Abilities and Skills:
• Ability to work in a team with customer service focus, ability to work under pressure to meet the deadlines and ability to maintain the confidentiality in the entire department, excellent Interpersonal skills and Advance computer skills in Microsoft office are required.
