About Afghanaid:
Afghanaid is a British-registered international NGO, which has worked in Afghanistan for over 30 years. We assist community-driven processes that address the rights and fundamental needs of people in some of the most remote areas of Afghanistan, providing basic services, supporting development of rural livelihoods and responding to humanitarian emergencies. We are headquartered in Kabul, and operate 20 provincial and district offices across Badakhshan (north-eastern region), Samangan (northern region) and Ghor (western region), as well as a Marketing and Fundraising office in London. We employ around 160 personnel, 97% of whom are Afghans.
Job Summary:
To maintain provincial office data and administrative system
Duties & Responsibilities:
To assist the Provincial Admin & HR Coordinator, including
Being in charge of stores management
General Office Management (Photocopying, sue of Codan, Thuraya, Communication system and utilities tracking and payments)
Maintain
Purchasing of daily office consumables and clearance with account.
Data Entry and record keeping fills
Repair and Maintenance office fixture and furniture.
Supervision of cook & cleaner to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and office
Repair and Maintenance Office’s vehicles and building.
2. Specific duties
Maintain the provincial and districts office store and stock inventory records and ensure that store is efficiently and effectively administrated.
Provide office stocks report to the provincial A&HRC; on monthly bases.
Provide office facility and stationary to the provincial staff as required.
Provide secretarial assistant to the Provincial Program Manager when is required.
Maintain; send & receive pouch to/from Head Office/ D/Offices weakly/ monthly bases
To insure provincial office premises generator, office electric and sanitation systems are in proper good working condition at all the times
To insure the provincial office provides healthy and proper food and beverages for staff.
Maintain the provincial office staff attendance, leave register and report to the PA&HR; on monthly bases.
Maintain the provincial office’s SR & purchasing documents
Organize internal meeting as required by the project staff and maintain record/ minutes of the procedure.
Making food menu in consultation with Afghanaid staff
Supervision of cook to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and testy food
Supervision of cleaner to maintain cleaning offices, washing rooms, guesthouses and maintain fresh working environment to the provincial office staff and visitors on daily basses.
Supervision provincial office vehicle and arrangement

Perform any other related duties as required by your line manager.

Job Requirement:
At least 3 years of professional experience in related field
Prior work experience in the fields of community development and agriculture sector development.
Proven experience of working with women-led community based organisations and supporting them in their small businesses
Self-starter - able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.
Ability to articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner
Able to communicate in local languages
Team player – ability to work within a team where members depend on each other to get work done.
Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
