Job Summary

The purchasers are responsible to buy goods and services in high-quality and cost-effective purchases which is necessary for ACB daily business.

Reporting
The purchaser will report to procurement manager.

Duties & Responsibilities


Prepare purchasing schedule.

Assess supplier profiles and analyse offers

Prepare and implement effective negotiation tactics

Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts or as per procurement law.

Maintain related documents purchase (requests, quotations, purchase order, bid opening, bid analysis report, invoice, goods received notes, translation sheet and supply contact documents) and forward required documents.

Take responsibility for movement of all goods and equipment including coordinate with Stock keeper, procurement officer and distribution staff to ensure efficient and timely delivery of relief commodities

Identify requirements and establish and maintain all logistical infrastructures for administration and operations.

To collect quotations, RFQs as per standard and procurement law.

Register all purchased items into the MIS system.

Process financial clearance of the purchased items or goods weekly base.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS


The purchaser may be required to travel extensively around the country or sometimes internationally.

Must be able to travel and balance work/life priorities.

Job Requirements


Granduate from high School with 7 years relevant work experience. Or Bachelor degree with 3 years relevant work experience.

Proven experience as a purchasing agent or relevant role

Demonstrable experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions

Knowledge of market research, data analysis, and purchasing best practices

Ability to work with business leads and creative teams to successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment or to work extra hours.

Effective communication skills to communicate effectively with all concerned staff
