Duties & Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilities in Power System Management to cater power requirement of all Core Network rollout including expansion and upgrade projects and optimization of use existing power system and ensure reliability of power design to eliminate the risk of network outage.
• Reviews and approves power system evaluation and provide necessary recommendations to cater power requirement.
• Provides Support the required AC/DC power upgrade and equipment expansion of other Network Engineering discipline such as Data, IP and BSS Operation.
• Attends to work assignments endorsed/ delegate by his superiors.
• Conducts quality control procedures and checks to technical sites during project acceptance and maintenance.
• Conducts special studies as necessary relative to electrical works quality aspects of MSC, BSC, BTS, in-building, antenna wall mountings, and tower changes/modification.
• Specifier – research, conduct test, prepares unit costing, and recommends new materials to update/upgrade existing standards.
• Approves submitted materials samples.
• Monitor progress in quality related issues on site and reports results as part of work monitoring.
• Evaluates contractors for substitution of materials and design changes.
• Prepares weekly status report, technical report, inter-office memo and other correspondences related to the projects. Keeps his superior posted on the developments or progress of the work, important related matters or problems to job / work being performed.

• Decide on his actions to accomplish the work on time.
• Decide on programs to improve his competency.
• Decide on priorities and overtime work which is in accordance with the existing company policy or approved guidelines.

Organizational Relationship:

Reports to : Senior Manager, Quality
Coordinates with : All concerned disciplines necessary to complete the project

Job Requirements

Education : College Graduate, preferably Electrical or Electronics Engineering
good Communication skills

Years of Related Experience : Preferably with a related job experiences in electrical field or telecom.
