Background:
Contractor has recently been awarded multiple contracts for design build construction services for the US Government in Afghanistan. Candidates are sought to join our team of professionals for a successful project.
The QC Manager is responsible for the quality delivery of project requirements, according to contract specifications, typically for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan,. Primary duties include the following:
• Preparation of project submittals and plans
• Management of RMS/QCS system for US clients
• Track labor, materials, and equipment usage and file daily reports
• Review and edit of design documents and project specifications
• Preparation of monthly pay requests
• Preparation and tracking of change orders and contract modifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience managing vertical construction projects for international clients valued greater than $5M USD
• USACE project experience highly preferred
• Current USACE Total Quality Management for Contractors Certificate or ability to earn within 1 month of employment
• Fluent English language and effective communications skills
