1- Duties and Responsibilities:
The railway project manager will be responsible for overall establishment, hiring and recruitment, operation and management of railway unit as well as assisting the business development department with data collection, research, survey and planning.
The project manager will be responsible for pre assessment, site survey, data collection, understanding about the current infrastructure, management and railway operations, bringing all data into context of a report.
The project manager will be responsible for developing systems such as operation system, administration system, management system, safety and risk management system.
The project manager will be responsible to propose appropriate solutions and services to reduce cost, generate more income, and find new business or expansion opportunities.
Auditing the current infrastructure, existing operation systems and procedures, machineries, equipment, capacity and efficiency.
The project manager will help business develop team to develop a winning proposal and presentation to the Government by incorporating accurate data, practical and effective solutions, services and procedures and list of machineries and equipment required for the project.
The project manager should have full knowledge of the international trade codes, and will need to assist the team in preparation and designing of bill of lading.
The project manager will act as focal point person between stakeholders and partners, and presenting the plan to key stakeholders.
The project manager will assist the HR department in selection and hiring key staff for railway unit and will be responsible to manage the railway unit staff.
Perform any other relevant task given by the supervisor.

Master University Degree is required and PhD is preferable in Civil Engineering and comprehensive on the job training in an active railway environment. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in big infrastructure projects consulting with major international and Asian railway private companies or government railway departments.
Excellent Knowledge of railway operations, management, administration, understanding of system design, standards, functions, system and procedures.
Excellent knowledge in data collection, analysis, survey design, site survey, report writing, and presentation skills.
