This position reports directly to the Director KBD (Kabul Breshna Directorate and assumes responsibility for all aspects of financial management including procurement, Human Resource, Administration, & Information Technology as well as having exposure to the strategic direction of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Director KBD to develop the strategic financial plan for KBD and assist the Director KBD in delivering strategic financial objectives for KBD.
Maintain financial control over KBD activities.
Create and implement cost and profit centres.
Develop, maintain and regularly review the KBD financial reporting systems.
Prepare quarterly forecasting, as well as an annual plan, monthly, quarterly, half year and full year reporting.
Prepare monthly management reports by departmental expenditure.
Report and monitor accruals and prepayments.
Improve the quality and content of financial reporting.
Coordinate and lead the relevant departments of the finance & administration division.
Manages and evaluates the procurement, Finance, HR and administrative processes (management) information for accuracy, reliability and completeness.
Close interaction with Procurement department to get the monthly requirements for the entire KBD.
Ensure the procurement Unit of the KBD is on compliance with DABS policies and procedures.
Ensure the Human Resource Department is on compliance with DABS policies and procedures.
Responsible to close work with the related team in Breshna Head Quarter.
Provide regular and relevant management information to Director KBD against budget and forecast.
Establish clear control mechanisms to improve efficiencies.
Maintain all type of Assets Register.
Maintain and ensure correct data of the KBD ware houses.
Ensure all budgets; forecasts and reporting are prepared by local breshnas in accordance with agreed formats and standards to agreed timetables.
Prepare capital expenditure reports.
Prepare annual budgets.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly and year end accounts.
Assist the external Auditors yearly.
To maintain and develop organizational culture, values and reputation with all staff of the Kabul Breshna.
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work autonomously or in a team and to confidently present to the Senior Management Staff.
Experience of management reporting.
Excellent knowledge of MS, Office and other accounting soft wares.
Flexible attitude with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
Well developed organisational skills.
