Job Summary:

• Develop an effective system of job analysis and job specifications
• Assess staffing needs, builds and executes a staffing plan to meet all requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained across DABS

Duties & Responsibilities:


• Develop an effective system of job analysis and job specifications
• Assess staffing needs, builds and executes a staffing plan to meet all requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate staffing levels are maintained across DABS
• Builds staffing plan and recruiting activities around staffing plans/needs.
• Develop and manage the recruitment process.
• Establish criteria for selection panels and ensure they are adhered to.
• Act as an adviser to selection panels.
• Ensure selected candidates meet the selection criteria.
• Has a good network of links to sources of potential new qualified employees, such as higher education institutes.
• Sources qualified candidates via sources such as ads/small newspapers, employee referral programs, web postings, database searches, direct competitor recruitment, technical schools, military, direct mailings, etc.
• Designs and executes (in partnership with HR Assistant) an administrative process that quickly and effectively moves candidates through the screening and selection process.
• Interviews candidates.
• Conducts testing of candidates.
• Coaches managers and others on interviewing skills, selection process, sourcing, etc.
• Responsible for ensuring high quality candidates are delivered.
• Responsible for ensuring positions are filled on-time.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor level degree with 4 to 6 years of general human resources background, three of which should include full cycle recruitment experience or experience in working in a progressive personnel department. Capable of management within fast paced environment Proven success with recruiting candidates at all levels. Experience of working at all levels of an organization with proven ability to interface well with senior management
• Extensive interviewing and selection experience
• Experience in managing a recruitment process
• Strong communication skills, initiative, and sense of urgency
• Computer proficiency and knowledge of applicable websites are a must
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
