Job Summary:

Zone Manager is responsible for overall administrative, financial and construction activities of the assigned responsible zone.
He/she must direct, manage, coordinator and monitor all activities of the zone staff and report to Ti senior

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Oversee vital activities regarding procurement, logistics and financials.
•Supports the Director in reducing, controlling and monitoring all transportation, warehouse, customs and excise costs
•Measure, monitor and report actual freight costs and service on an ongoing basis
•Oversee and guide the preparation and management of contracts and agreements
•Assessment of issues related to shipping, customer service and plant and implement solutions
•Set and agree to performance standards with carriers and hold carriers responsible for performance
•Develop long-range logistics plans and strategies and ensure performance targets are met
•Reporting monthly on areas of responsibilities to VP.
•Prepare yearly budgets for all outbound freight, inbound freight, and warehousing
•Ensures all company Logistics procedures and policies are followed, and set new ones as required
•Monitors regional and national trends, threats and opportunities in the external environment and impact on the company’s Logistics
•Work across a global, matrix organization, sharing and learning best practices
•Develop and maintain a high-performance culture
•Develop training programs for logistics, procurement and account department staff
•Conduct annual evaluations of logistics, procurement and account department staff

Job Requirement:

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, engineering, science or a related field, or certification as a Certified Public Purchasing Officer or Certified Purchasing Manager.

Knowledge Skills, Job Experience and Abilities:
Certification or License Preferred
Minimum 5 years experience in management
Fluent in Dari, Pashto and English both written and verbal
Must able to manage multiple departments and several hundred staff
Experience developing and implementing leading edge logistics solutions
Excellent people management and communication skills
Strong financial controls
