Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) began as an agency that provided licenses to companies wishing to invest in Afghanistan. AISA has now evolved into a pro-active institution on promoting and attracting investment to Afghanistan. AISA, having its main office in Kabul and regional offices in Herat, Kandahar, Mazar-i-sharif, Nangharhar, Khost, Kunduz, Paktia, Faryab and Helmand province, delivers a wide range of services to investors all over the country.
The regional office Director under the direct supervision of Vice President Investment/Vice President Administration will represent AISA at regional level. He/ She is responsible for managing all the promotion, support, industrial park and licensing activities on regional level. Moreover, He / She must carry out all the supervisory activities of the office including the staff and any office related matter.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
â€¢ Manage and oversee all aspects of the regional office including the staff/office
â€¢ Overview of all the licensing documents.
â€¢ Liaise with the Government Institutes in facilitating the licensing procedures for the investors.
â€¢ Coordinate with Investment Promotion and Investor Support Department with regards to promotion activities and domestic and foreign support.
â€¢ Coordinate the industrial parks matters.
â€¢ Study the investment climate of the province and provide the information to the Research and Policy Department.
â€¢ Prepare the monthly progress report and submit it to the Research and Policy Department
â€¢ Prepare and control all the financial transactions of the regional office and submit the same to the Finance Department (Head office).
â€¢ Conducting and organizing all the provincial meetings, seminars, conferences, workshops on behalf of AISA in the respective regional office.
â€¢ Oversee the department activities.
â€¢ Other duties as assigned.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities of the office including staff in accordance with the organizationâ€™s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualification and Experience:
â€¢ University degree from a recognized University, in Law, Business Management, Economics, Commerce or any other related field with a minimum of five years of experience in the relevant field.
