The Revenue National Consultants (RNCs) will work directly with specified Revenue Teams ‎and Officers to support the capacity building process by managing and coaching staff in ‎work-planning, tax-transaction processing and related administrative activities. RNCs upon ‎appointment will be assigned, and re-assigned as required, to the Large Taxpayer Office, ‎Medium Taxpayer Office or other offices, to work on any of the following functions: ‎taxpayer audit, taxpayer identification, procurement and revenue administration.‎

Essential ‎
‎1.‎ A degree in business administration, public administration, finance, economics or a ‎related discipline.‎
‎2.‎ Private or public sector accounting experience, minimum 3 years.‎
‎3.‎ Management expertise and experience including work-based coaching and facilitation.‎
‎4.‎ Ability to use ‘Word’ and ‘Excel’ software. ‎
‎5.‎ Fluency in a national language of Afghanistan
‎6.‎ Spoken and written English Language ability at a level that meets the professional ‎standards in communication required for liaising with International business organisations ‎and International Advisers. ‎
Preferred
‎7.‎ An accounting professional qualification from a recognized institution.‎
‎8.‎ Auditing expertise and experience.‎
‎9.‎ Ability to use accounting software.‎
‎10.‎ Customer relationship management expertise and experience.‎
‎11.‎ Experience of working in, or with, an International business organization or non-‎governmental organization operating in Afghanistan.‎
