Job Summary

Ensure medical supervision of patients
On-Job Mentorship on pharmacy management
Ensure the well-being of the patients and those who accompany them

Duties & Responsibilities

Objective 1 : Ensure medical supervision of patients :
Activities :
- Identification of patients for admission in absence of doctor ;
- Tri-age of patients at risk ;
- Ensure the quality of the measurement done and support the measurer
- Ensure the clinical examinations ;
- Ensure Direct the patients to the phase corresponding to their medical state ;
- Ensure Apply the prescribed treatment according to the protocol ;
- Ensure the prescribed frequency of clinical examinations in the phases according to the state of each patient
- Analyse the data collected and note down any errors and OJT if need;
- Support Identify those patients who need to be transferred to another phase
Objective 2 : On-Job Mentorship on pharmacy management :
- Conduct capacitation activities for nurses at HFs on good pharmacy management practices
Objective 3 : Ensure the well-being of the patients and those who accompany them :
Activities :
- Participant in Health and nutrition education of patients
- Give individual advice to the accompanying person during the treatment ;
- Define with the team, the health training programme and improve it ;
- Reinforce the respect of hygiene rules in the centre among beneficiaries and caretakers ;
- Participate in stimulating the patients
Objective 4: Management on Mother MUAC screening implementing
- Support for the recruitment of the volunteers
- Train the volunteers on Mother MUAC approach
- Organize weekly meeting with the volunteers on the progress and report of the screening and training
Mother MUAC
- Ensure the children screened by mother and arrived in the HFs are reported
- Support the HFs to train a mother MUAC to improve the technic if need

Job Requirements

Diploma / Level of studies:
Nurse/ midwifery certificate or diploma
Required skills :
Experience in implementation of nutrition activities; patience, good relations with other people, good capacity to work in a team, capacity to manage
