Job Summary

Provide support to HASEL team and ADF PMU in the implementation of Component II (Technical Assistance to Support Establishing and Implementing Agricultural Development Fund) activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Areas of support will include supporting the launch of the MAIL ADF Project Management Unit; providing support to public awareness campaigns; and organizing applications from agricultural enterprises interested in applying for loans. Assist Senior Rural Finance Team in preparing ADF Readiness Report, verifying the process by which ADF has been established, launched, and advertised. Provide continual support to HASEL and PMU in administration of loans and grants. Knowledge of agricultural finance in Afghanistan a plus.

Job Requirements

At least 5 years of professional experience in agriculture, rural development, and/or access to finance in developing countries (regional and/or Afghanistan experience preferred);
Graduate degree in relevant field required;
Prior experience working on USAID or other donor funded programs preferred;
Prior program management experience preferred.
Strong English language skills preferred.
