Job Summary

1.Have at least 3 years construction safety experience
2.Must have completed 30 hour OSHA Construction safety class or an equivalent, 30 hours of formal construction safety and health training covering the subjects of the OSHA 30-hour course. If satisfy other requirements, for those who have not completed the safety training, training will be provided.
3.Fluent in written and spoken English and the ability to draft substantive correspondence. Dari and Pashto are essential.
4.High ability of English speaking (ability in technical / engineering expression speaking).
5.Ability to work in team, ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.Be on site at all times when work is performed.
2.To operate inspection program daily for safety compliance.
3.Conduct frequent worksite inspections to verify Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and EM 385-1-1 compliance.
4.Conduct or supervise on-site safety training.
5.To motivate, educate and train.
6.To devise and implement risk controls.
7.Conduct and implement toolbox meeting with subcontractor and workers
8.Ensure that personnel wear appropriate PPE on the construction site.
9.Investigate accidents and incidents as necessary.
10.Have authority to make spot corrections or stop work for safety purposes.
11.Conduct weekly employee safety meetings and attend monthly supervisory safety meetings.
12.Preparing monthly Safety Exposure Report
13.To control hazardous processes or materials.
14.Report daily site safety activities and inspection
15.Report all accidents take place on the site.
16.Preparing an Accident Hazard Analysis (AHA) for each definable futures of work before starting.
17.A deficiency log will be generated after inspections
