NBG Safety Manager (SM) creates and executes project work plans and if necessary, revise plans to meet changing needs and requirements. To provide NBG Management over site of all phases of construction project, including coordinating workers, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Duties & Responsibilities:
A construction safety manager oversees and directs all policies with regards to an employer's safety program. The manager develops and administers programs that educate employees on, and ensure compliance with, all regulations issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and other government agencies.
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of all laws surrounding construction safety, a construction safety manager develops and implements policies, procedures and other company-wide safety standards.
A construction safety manager develops and maintains a tracking system to monitor all construction-related accidents.
A construction safety manager should possess a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary institution within construction engineering, occupational safety or a related field of study.
