About MOIA:

The Afghan Ministry of Interior fulfills a role of crucial functions to strengthen civilian protection, the rule of law and security in Afghanistan. These include:  Enforcement of Rule of Law  Ensuring security and protection of public order and security  Take preventive measures to avoid the criminal incidence  Timely detection of crime and criminals and prevent public disorder and violations  Fight corruption, social immorality that disrupts public safety and welfare  Supporting sound performance to strengthen transparency and accountability  Ensuring police professionalization and capacity building of MoI staff  Respect human rights and enhance the relationship of police and public  Control and Protection Afghan borders  Promote and enhance women’s participation in the police ranks  Equal law enforcement, gender equality and provide required resources, facilities and fairThe incumbent professional environment for women  Coordinating amongst ANSF and judicial entities within legal boundaries and in accordance to the law  ANP command and control  Fight against narcotics import, production, cultivation, and smuggling  Counterterrorist activities, organized crimes, human trafficking and attracting international assistance.

Job Summary:

Monitor and control the implementation of goals and objectives and organize meetings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Develop monthly, quarterly and annual plans
2. Implement department’s programs and goals
3. Correspond letters and recommendations from authorized partner agencies and send letter to partner agencies.
4. Provide recommendations to provide stationary and required equipment and materials.
5. Develop and prepare summary report, meeting agenda and minutes taking during official meetings
6. Dissemination of agreements and decisions taken in the meetings as well as develop and translate official documents for relevant departments.
7. Ensure the follow up of instruction implemented by relevant units
8. Develop and organize documents within relevant files as well as establish an effective and transparent filing system by maintaining high ranking officials contact list.
9. Type letters, documents and reports especially confidential ones.
10. Maintaining department’s confidential policy, procedure and regulation related files
11. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by relevant supervisor with the policies and procedures.

Impact of Results
Summary of results is all about MoIA’s progress and effectiveness within Afghanistan. Effectiveness of legal consultations purposes adds to transparency and further accountability within MoIA.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor preferably higher degree in administrative management Education
At least One year experience in the related field Experience
Fluency in English, Dari/Pashto and written as well as spoken ability Language Requirements:
Other skills (short term training and courses, on the job training and etc.) Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations and other legal documents of the country, liaising, capacity building, English language, computer program skills. Other skills
