About Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP):

 

The Afghanistan Justice Sector Support Program (JSSP) is a multi-pronged effort to develop and strengthen the capacity of the Afghan criminal justice sector institutions and justice professionals. JSSP is funded by the United States Department of State/Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). PAE is INL’s prime contractor responsible for implementing JSSP. Through capacity building, technical advice and direct assistance, JSSP helps the justice institutions and the justice professionals perform their respective roles in delivering fair and effective justice services to the citizens of Afghanistan. In addition to working with justice institutions, JSSP participates in a variety of projects designed to promote access to a fair and effective justice system.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Update various information lists e.g. the program contact list.

Produce and update the different templates for certificates, tags, business cards etc.

Handling the calendar for different meetings, interviews etc.

Coordinate and schedule written tests and interviews with the sections and HR.

Ensure compliance by all local administrative assistants with policies, rules and reporting requirements promulgated by JSSP management.

Ensure compliance by all local administrative assistants with applicable polices and rules for the procurement of equipment and other items and the proper inventory of all such items.

Keep the Afghan Professional Manager fully informed concerning the performance if, as well as developments and issues with, all administrative assistants.

Perform related duties or special assignments as assigned by the Afghan Professional Manager and DCOT-A

Oversee and supervise the work all administrative assistants.

Ensure the continuing education, training and professional development of administrative assistant.

Prepare training material and deliver trainings to build capacity of administrative assistants.

Provide monthly report to direct supervisor.

Write meeting minutes.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:


High school graduate, Bachelor degree is preferred.

At least three years of relevant administrative/management work experience.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing with staff at all levels of the organization.

Excellent computer skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing with staff at all levels of the organization.

Excellent written and oral English, Dari/Pashto.

Excellent computer skills in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Ability to multi-task, detailed and deadline oriented.

Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.

Development and management of an effective and motivated team.

Ability to manage conflicting priorities and balance a heavy workload.

Knowledge of administrative policies of the organization.

Knowledge and good understanding of training content/material to build capacity of administrative staff.
