About World Vision International Afghanistan:

Job Summary:

Due to a combination of drought-affected harvest failure, increased food costs, and lack of income-generating activities, Afghanistan is facing acute food insecurity. The name of the CFW project is: Food Insecurity Response for Urban Populations (FIRUP). Project activities will be based in three provinces in western Afghanistan: Herat, Badghis, and Ghor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Compliance officer is a position based in the Herat office, with frequent travel to project sites in all three provinces. This position will provide comprehensive compliance and project learning support for FIRUP project staff. The Senior Compliance officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance to WV and donor regulations for all cash-for-work project components by reviewing documents, procedure and systems of FIRUP implementation.
