This position is responsible, ensuring gender issues are considered in all stage of the program implementation and handles staff training on gender issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Analyze the impact of the humanitarian crisis on women, girls, boys and men. Ensure that all needs assessments include gender issues in the information and analysis phases. Women, girls, boys and men should be consulted in the assessment, monitoring and evaluation processes.
â€¢ Based on gender analysis, make sure that all women, girls, boys and men are targeted with specific actions when appropriate. Where one group is more at risk than the others, special measures should be taken to protect that group. For example, safe spaces for women to take part in the Cash for Work activities.
â€¢ Establish sex-disaggregated baseline data to measure impacts and changes.
â€¢ Promote equal and/or proportional representation of women and men in decision-making.
â€¢ Implement concrete measures to reduce women's workloads, enabling their participation in management and decision-making.
â€¢ Ensure that monitoring systems track both intended and unintended impacts of the program intervention and efforts for women and men.
â€¢ Ensure that data from women is preferably collected by women.
â€¢ Ensure proportional representation of women and men on the team throughout the program response (including assessments, etc.), including a member experienced in gender.
â€¢ Collect data from women, girls, men and boys.
â€¢ Ensure that gender-balanced/ proportional representation teams and a gender-focal person are mandatory on all response teams throughout all phases of the program (assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, etc.).
â€¢ Coordination with Ministry of Women Affairs that introduces women for applying to temporary jobs
â€¢ Conducting Gender Equity Dynasty GED orientation workshop to staff of FIRUP
â€¢ Working with HAWA project as a focal point of FIRUP
â€¢ Contribution CARE GED training and playing role as facilitator
Participation in meetings (Conflict working group) of CARE as FIRUP representative
EDUCATION: University graduated in Social Science, Economics, Literature and Education subject.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum three years work experience in the relevant field.
SKILLS: Facilitation, Gender analysis skills, ability to use PRA methodology and excellent . speaking reading and writing of English language.
LANGUAGE: Fluent in Dari, Pashto, and English.
GENERAL: Good interpersonal communication, facilitation and community mobilization skills.
