Job Summary:
The Senior Grants Officers will support the coordination of all grant activities, including pre-award, implementation and close out actions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as a grants coordinator and point of contact between the Grantees and Grants Departments and must be proactively involved in the grants cycle of management and processes (pre award & post award).
Contribute in the management of awards, daily administrative tasks and activities and help the team to achieve the deadlines including preparing monthly spending status and grants tracking spreadsheets, memos, amendment to the contract.
Coordinates with Finance, program, M&E and externally with the stakeholders in particular the grantees to ensure on time data collection and reporting essential for deliverables.
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
At least five years of professional experience, preferably working with donor-funded programs
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with grants for USAID-funded programs.
Proficiency using Microsoft office suite, and other relevant software
Demonstrated strong program solving skills as well as exceptional customer relations (both internally and externally); provides sound business judgment and contractual oversight
Excellent organizational skills with a willingness to take initiative and be proactive in the grant process
Excellent communications and team work skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization and of different multi-cultural backgrounds
Fluency in English is required
