is seeking for capable HMIS/ M&E Senior Officer for Takhar sub office

Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Ensure update HMIS soft ware is functional and used properly at the field office
2- Performs supervisory and monitoring visit from Health Facilities at least 5th times/month.
3-Provide field office, health facilities and community networks with adequate number of updated relevant HMIS formats
4-Identify staff needs and perform specific training and support to health facilities staff and community net work on HMIS and use of data for action
5-Monitor timeliness and completeness of reports. Develop monitoring and supervision plan and conduct supportive supervision visits. Assess quality of reported data.
6-Collect, compile, analyze data and provide feedback. Provide staff with required HMIS information
7-Ensure the flow of information to sub office and main office
8-Participate in drafting monthly, quarterly and annual reports
9-Participate in drafting monthly, quarterly and annual reports
10-Coordinate HMIS activities with other concern agencies; represent AHEAD in HMIS task force.
11-Responsible to ensure the system is functional at all level from the community to field office and produce timely, accurate, and reliable and sufficient data/information and ensure the information is used for action and improvement of quality of services.
12-Responsible to coordinate the activity with the concern department of provincial public health directorate and other concerned agencies, report writing, training, and knowledge of supervision, monitoring and evaluation for at least two years and fluently in Dari/Pashto and English languages. She/he is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, supervision /monitoring of all project activities.
1- Must have MD Degree from reputable educational institute .
2- Three years practical knowledge of M&E / Senior HMIS Officer .
3- Good in operation computer software such as Ms-Excel, specially in HMIS Database .
4- Fluency in local languages .
5- Strong interpersonal and communication skills .
6- Ability to travel extensively in the field .
