Job Summary:

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

The mission is to ensure that all necessary revenue assurance activities are performed well, ensure all outstanding issues are resolved.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·      Ensure that the revenue affecting business processes have inbuilt mechanisms to assure revenue streams via visibility, controls and good process design

·      Establish and maintain reconciliation processes to ensure end-to-end visibility of revenue streams and data accuracy

·      Ensure data integrity in all revenue impacting systems across MTNA

·      Build controls into revenue impacting projects within MTNA

·      Ensure regular re-prioritization of all identified RA operational processes to cover revenue leakages throughout the business

·      Manage, co-ordinate and conduct once-off and recurring analyses to test / elicit the suitability of business processes 

·      Seek revenue leakage within MTNA and work with involved parties to plug leakage and ensure future revenues are assured

·      Benchmark KPI’s across the industry

·      Develop and implement structured risk assessments of the business and develop a priority approach to risk control

·      Assess and improve on reporting and revenue methodology consistently

·      Highlight and communicate revenue losses to senior management within agreed timescales

·      Assist in the development and/or implementation of new products, service platforms, IS and network application and integration

·      Ensure team members conform to standard working procedures and the need for cross-functional participation

·      Ensure unit compliance and adherence to performance agreements

·      Plan all Revenue Assurance unit activities

·      Identify development opportunities for team members during project planning and assist them in building new skills

·      Facilitate revenue assurance projects within MTNA

·      Manage cross functional relationships

Lead the assessment of potential risks / actual loss versus cost / burden of control to achieve balanced approach to achieving cost control and revenue protection 

Job Requirement:

Minimum Requirements  

Education:

·      Business degree (Computer Science)

·      Certified IS auditor advantageous

·      Degree in Finance /Accounting

 

 

Experience:

·      5 years’ work experience which includes experience in revenue assurance, systems audit, information technology services and business process reviews 

·      Finance/ auditing experience an advantage

·      Proven management/leadership proficiency

·      Telecommunication industry experience

·      Minimum of 5 years of experience in switching, transmission operations with at least two years managerial experience in the wireless telecommunications industry, with an emphasis on international roaming; experience in project management and negotiation
