Job Summary


Support CC Unit to ensure implementation of CC program as per grants requirements and compliance, and reporting of projects on time, on budget and to the required standard.

To coordinate CC activities across all the CC ministries (MRRD. IDLG, MAIL, MoE, MoPH, MoF and the OoP), including budget, operational planning, learning activities, and communication.

To carry out an institutional needs assessment of CC ministries to enable them to discharge services efficiently and effectively in regard to identifying equipment needs, procurement planning, staff training development, development of municipal inventory databases.

Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting:

Support in the production of monthly and quarterly reports on a timely basis to government authorities and donor community.

Support CC Unit to ensure implementation of CC program as per grants requirements and compliance, and reporting of projects on time, on budget and to the required standard.

Work with the Finance and Operation Officers to develop accurate and realistic financial reports, budget allocation and reconciliations.

Conduct presentation and organize information sharing sessions with government authorities and international community.
Coordination:

To coordinate CC activities across all the CC ministries (MRRD. IDLG, MAIL, MoE, MoPH, MoF and the OoP), including budget, operational planning, learning activities, and communication.

Development of coordination and capacity building initiatives in support with CC ministries for local partner organizations to ensure learning and best practice is shared and developed. This will evolve to include partnership management and transferred learning.

Provide program support such as administrative, project monitoring, project management, budget preparation, and support to consultant missions, in provincial locations and Kabul as required.
Technical support to line Ministries:

To carry out an institutional needs assessment of CC ministries to enable them to discharge services efficiently and effectively in regard to identifying equipment needs, procurement planning, staff training development, development of municipal inventory databases.

Make sure accurate data is collected from CC ministries, analyzed and financial reports demonstrating, expenditure, existing budget and gaps.

Make sure the implementation of government HR policies and procedures in CC ministries and the staffing guideline developed by the CC team.


Perform any other tasks as needed and directed by unit head.

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy and Administration, Governance, Development Studies, Economics, MBA and other related fields is required. With Master Degree 5 Years and with Bachelor Degree 7 years relevant work experience. (Master’s degree is preferred)

Ability to deal with difficult, often challenging work situations.

Fluent in Dari/Pashto and English (written and oral).
