Job Summary

Main activities

1.Support the female partner/ implementers by regular monitoring and supervision.
2.To develop and implement, the Cordaid gender strategy through partner organization and those programs that support participation of women in the Afghan society.
3.To ensure that gender is considered in all aspects of programming
4.Provide information to support planning and assessment for Community
Service outcomes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Specific tasks and responsibilities

•To implement Cordaid gender based projects with partner organizations in the light of Cordaid Gender Strategy
•To ensure that gender is considered in all aspect of the programming.
•To act as an information channel for coordination and cooperation
•Monitor progress of gender program and mainstreaming jointly with partners
•Organizing workshops as needed
•Provide timely feedback to Cordaid country director and to the partners
•To maintain project filing systems
•Liaise directly with the country director Kabul to the maters relating to gender

Job Requirements

1.A degree in Gender, public health, Nutrition or community development
2.Proven NGO experience
3.Managerial position held in program development and project management
4.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
5.Excellent report writing and proposal development skills.
6.bility to represent the organization
7.Proven experience of working with partners
