Job Summary:

The Sr. Software Developer is responsible to manage and direct a team of software developers. She/he is responsible for advising and implementing best ICT practices in the design, development and implementation phases of all ICT related solutions for Musharikat, especially in the development and implementation of the KMP (Knowledge Management Portal) for Musharikat staff and beneficiaries. She/he is responsible to ensure that the design, documentation, development and testing of ICT infrastructure and applications realize the delivery of a high-end ICT value proposition, in line with the organization’s requirements and vision.

The Sr. Software Developer position is under the supervision of the Sr. ICT & Innovation Advisor. Responsible to:


Identify and document detailed software/web infrastructure requirements

Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on project/technical needs

Create and maintain software documentation

Enable to design and develop Musharikat Knowledge Management Portal - MKMP, to capture project related information, dissemination of accurate information, lessons and best practices and make these available so that Musharikat delegates/stakeholders can use it online/offline.

Provide visionary leadership and creative program guidance to the programming team and staff by applying critical, innovative, problem-solving and forward-looking thinking and planning to program design and implementation of high-quality programs in line with Promote-Musharikat principles;

Ensure the Musharikat KMP that is developed meets strict security and privacy standards

Provide and plan post-implementation support and maintenance

Ensure accurate and timely reporting to assigned supervisor, including all details of progress, achievements and challenges within the team

Job Requirement:


With Master degree 3 to 5 years of professional experience and with Bachelor Degree 5-7 experience in computer sciences

5+ years of experience in the design and development of ICT systems and solutions

Demonstrated track record of similar projects with high-end integrated ICT infrastructure/Cloud systems and applications is a must

Good in requirement gathering

Inspirational qualities and leadership skills to progress the assigned team to the next level

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent Dari, Pashto, and English reading, writing and speaking skills

Demonstrated track record of similar projects with high-end integrated ICT infrastructure/Cloud systems and applications is a must

Good in requirement gathering
