Job Summary

  • Develop, implement and improvise HR policies and procedures to align with local legislations as well as Group standards; Develop and implement the Compensation & Benefits strategy; pay structures using job level, design and analysis
  • Able to perform salary benchmarking survey and present management analysis of remunerations in line with applicable indicators for the better alignment

Duties & Responsibilities

·        Perform the process of Reward & Recognition i.e., the MTN Shine program in MTNA, develop culture of reward and recognition and keep line managers informed of MTN Shine nominees

·        Educate the business about online Innovation Submission Form processes and criteria, encourage employees to present nominations and review all nominations

·        Advertise the MTN Shine program inside MTNA premises to inform employees of various stages of the program and of the winners

·        Develop and implement OpCo change plan to implement integrated recognition framework and drive education campaigns defining the value, benefits and ROI of recognition

·        Identify constraining factors and causes that hinder managers from recognizing employees, 

·        Develop and implement new initiatives to drive manager led recognition; align these initiatives and assess their impact on the culture of recognition and fostering of MTN values

·        Facilitate behavioral change and sustenance of manager led recognition

·        Provide input for process improvement

·        Prepare all the Human Capital Reports and ensure that all necessary reports are accurately and timely prepared

·        Coordinate with other colleagues for the timely provision of data to the group (All Stake Holders)

·        Perform any other tasks delegated by the line manager

·        Perform companywide salary adjustment exercise to ensure alighment acorss the levels   

·        Provide inputs and assist in the development of HR Strategy / Business Plan with regards to the HR services department to align the compensation strategy to the business strategy

·        ·    Lead / Manage the implementation of a competent HR services channel in order to ensure the department meets its objectives

·        ·    Define and agree on key performance areas and service levels for HR service desk in alignments with business requirements in order to create the necessary structural and measuring mechanism

·        ·    Direct and ensure the maintenance of workforce data (for example, employee data through HRIS, personnel records/files, HR reports and dashboards, etc.) in order to ensure validity and accuracy of the same

·        ·    Direct the updating and maintenance of shared service system, processes and SLAs in order to reflect changes in upcoming HR technology and policies

·        ·    Ensure SLAs meet customers’ (internal or external) requirements especially with regards to process escalation, efficiency and robustness of design.

Job Requirements

Education:

Masters in HR / MBA with specialization in HR

Experience:

6-7 years of Human Resource experience; 4 years experience in employee relations preferably in a Telecom environment or banking sector is also preferable.
