Job Summary

Responsible for handling settlement and clearing of multi products activities/transactions to ensure the compliance of internal operational procedures and relevant jurisdiction. Manage and ensure smooth running of the clearing operations by managing and controlling operational risks, resolving exceptions and contingency situations swiftly.

Duties & Responsibilities

Subject Matter Expert providing front-line support to the dealing desk and internal stakeholders on all trading and settlement related issues.

Heavy daily communication with internal and external business partners, including but not limited to: Finance department, dealing desk, branches, and other relevant sections.

Oversee timely and accurate settlement and processing for all financial transactions

Research and resolve custodial and counterparty issues alongside finance team.

Define and centrally own operational processes and procedures to manage and maintain high level accuracy VFS operations management reporting and processes

Capture and update failed settlement information for calculating and claiming failed charges;

ensure timely filing and follow-up for outstanding claims

Drive high quality services by continuously identifying areas for process and systems improvements, and providing solution recommendations.

Act as an escalation point person for issues that require troubleshooting, detailed analysis and management.

Evaluate, develop, and improve processes and procedures to achieve the operational objectives of the VFS.

Manage best-in-class initiatives around risk mitigation and straight through processing.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics or any other related field

5 year of extensive experience

Good knowledge on global/local securities market, derivatives and structured products

Strive for success, efficient, customer centric, and be able to work under pressure and independently with strong sense of responsibility

Good communication skills to ensure effective cooperation with internal/external clients

Good command of written and spoken English
