Skills Description:

·        University degree (Masters preferable) in social sciences, economics, management or relevant sectors with three-year experience working in M&E

·        Good knowledge of the national/local languages (Dari and Pashto) of the duty station

·        Proficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint computer applications.

·        Strong interpersonal and communication, reporting and presentation skills, analysis and interpretation of data, ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity

·        Strong interpersonal skills

·        Ability to frequently travel to the program target communities

Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Pursue monitoring and data collection tasks

·       Traveling to the provinces

·        Travel and conduct site visits to offices and premises of project implementing partners (both governmental and non-governmental organizations) in order to inspect, observe and verify ongoing project activities.

·        Review and get ensure of the questionnaires prior to departing office for mission to the site.

·        Collect quantitative and qualitative data and monitor the progress of the project activities and quality of implementation against project work plans using appropriate monitoring measures.

·        Examine and verify the stated activity input, output and impact indicators to assess the progress of projects’ activities.

·        Prepare, consolidate and submit post-mission narrative reports, and other reports to his/her supervisor.

·        Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies,

·        Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.

·        Identifying if and where processes are not working as they should and advising on changes to be made

·        Analyze evaluation data gathered regarding employee performance and readjust employees benefits.

·        Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.

·        Participate in applicant interviews on regular basis if any

·        Conduct reference checks on possible candidates.

·        Assist in the overall recruitment process including short-listing of candidates, call for interview and support the recruitment panel during the selection.

·        Arrange employment contracts (short-term and long term)

·        Provide advice and recommendations on disciplinary actions.

·        Preparing the payroll

And any other tasks assigned by Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager.
