Job Summary:

Background:
Contractor has recently been awarded multiple contracts for design build construction services for the US Government in Afghanistan. Candidates are sought to join our team of professionals for a successful project.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Site Safety Manager is responsible for the safe delivery of project requirements, typically for the US Army Corps of Engineers in Afghanistan. Primary duties include the following:
• On-site implementation of Company Safety plans and policies in strict compliance with USACE Safety guidelines as per EM 385-1-1
• Preparation and maintenance of Safety and Accident Prevention Plan
• Preparation and maintenance of Activity Hazard Analyses
• Track incident rate and record injuries for all site personnel
• Ensure team-wide correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment
• Other safety related duties as required

Job Requirement:

Requirements:
• 3 - 5 years construction experience
• Current OSHA 30-hr Safety Certificate or ability to earn within 1 month of employment
• USACE project experience highly preferred
• Bachelors degree civil engineering or construction management preferred
• Fluent English language and effective communications skills
